Himsagar Express – Connecting JK to Kanya Kumari

Himsagar Express is one of the passenger trains operated by the Indian Railways. This train has a longest route in India. This train connects Jammu Kashmir to the KanyaKumari. The name of this train is derived as Him + Sagar. Him means ice that represents Jammu Kashmir while Sagar means ocean that represents KanyaKumari, bottom of India. The main route of this train is Kerala, Maharashtra, Delhi, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir that covers the distance of 3751 kms in 75 hours.
